Church Notices: 29th March 2026

1. 29 March is Palm Sunday. We enter into the Holy week of the Lord’s passion, death and resurrection. Blessings of Palms at the Oratory at 7:45 am followed by Mass in the Church. Kindly note there will be a 10:30 am Mass in the Church. At 4:30 pm we will have the sermon, procession, Veronica singing and benediction in Marathi.

2. On Sunday 29th March after the 6 pm Mass, the youth of our parish will be having a Lenten Worship ‘Return to the Heart of God’. Please come in large numbers and experience a powerful time of worship with Jesus. Special prayers for families and those in need.

3. On 1st April, 2026, there will be a half day Lenten recollection conducted by Fr. Naveen Rebello SVD in the church from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. All are welcome

4. We will have Lenten confessions on 30th March, 31st March and 1st April from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm in the Church. Please come and experience the forgiveness and the love of God.

5. 2nd April is Maundy Thursday- The Day of the Lord’s Supper. At 5:00 pm there will be Mass for the sick and the aged in the Church. At 7:30 pm we will have the washing of the feet and Mass of the Lord’s supper on the school grounds. From 10 pm to 11pm holy hour in Marathi in the Church. From 11 pm to 12 am holy hour in English in the Church.

6. 3rd April is Good Friday- Day of Fast and Abstinence. At 6:30 am we will begin with the Parish LIVE way of the cross in the Church. The route has been sent to you on whatsapp. From 10 am to 1 pm Three Hours Agony will be preached by Fr. Nigel Barrett in the Church. 3 pm Divine Mercy Novena begins in Church. 6:30 pm Solemn Liturgical Service and Veneration of the cross. 8 pm Passo service in Marathi.

7. 4th April is Holy Saturday – A Day of Silence and prayer. At 9:30 pm Easter Vigil service on the school grounds. Please bring your own candles.

8. 5th April is Easter Sunday, Masses will be at 7 am, 8:15 am and 9:30 am. There will be no evening Mass and no Mass at the college chapel.

9. From April 2026 a graveyard maintenance charge will be levied on all Niches in the cemetery. The maintenance charge is caped at Rs 500 per annum and can be paid for a period of 3 years. This will enable us to repair and maintain the graveyard. This graveyard maintenance charge will go into effect from 1st April 2026. Kindly bring your original papers along.
