Church Notices: 8th March 2026

1. On Sunday, we celebrate International Women’s Day. We pray for all our women in a special way at all Masses. Women entrepreneurs from our Parish have put up stalls today and tomorrow. Please patronize.

2. Felicitation on 8th March 2026 from 7 pm onwards in the Bosco Hall for Dr Armida Fernandez, recipient of Padma Shri award and prestigious Papal Medal and for Karen D'mello our recently elected Councillor. All are invited.

3. The priests of the parish will visit St. Paul’s Road Community E on Tuesday 10th March from 5 pm to 8 pm.

4. Marathi Lenten Mission on 9th and 10th of March preached by Fr. Kristi after the Marathi Mass at 7 pm.

5. Konkani Lenten Mission on the 11th and 12th of March preached by Fr. Valesh after the Konkani Mass at 7 pm

6. English Lenten Mission on the 13th and 14th of March preached by Frs. Michael and Melroy after the English Mass at 7 pm The Ever-Green senior citizens will be conducting their annual way of the cross on Thursday 12th March in the church compound at 9:30 am. Registrations after the 8 am Mass near the sacristy.

7. 13th March, Friday Parish one-day retreat at Sarvodaya Centre Goregaon. Please register in the parish office with your name and Rs 100/-. Limited seats so please hurry.

8. Sunday, 15th March the Vocation Commission of Bandra Deanery is organizing Altar Servers’ Rally and Recollection from 11 am to 1 pm in our Church. Please pray for all our young children to experience Jesus in their life.

9. On Sunday 15th March Holy Family Hospital in collaboration with St. Andrews Parish is organizing a special health awareness program. A panel of Lady doctors will cover an array of topics which will give valuable and practical insights on women’s heath, prevention and wellness. This will be held on 15th March Sunday at 10:15am in the Bosco Hall. Details are on the notice board.

10. The season of Lent encourages us to engage in works of charity and alms giving. To focus our efforts, we will have a collection on all Fridays of lent at all masses. This collection will be for the Lenten Alms which supports the formation of seminarians at Goregaon.

11. The AYM invites all youth of our parish to come and participate in the LIVE Way of the Cross on Good Friday. All those interested in acting, singing and narrating please give your names to Naomi or Delaine.

13. The All-Mumbai Walking Pilgrimage to pray for peace will be held on Saturday, 21st March 2026 at 10:30 pm from Cross maidan and conclude with the Holy Eucharist at Mount Mary Basilica. For details, please see the noticeboard.

14. We thank Br. Ambrose for his services and help rendered during this year to our parish especially in all the associations that he has been involved. We wish him all the best in his journey to the priesthood.
