Church Notices: 22nd March 2026

1. During this season of Lent, we are encouraged to do works of charity and almsgiving. A special collection called Lenten Alms is taken at all Masses every Friday of Lent. These funds will support the formation of seminarians at Goregaon.

2. 22nd March is the last day of Sunday School and Jesus and Me Club. We will have a thanksgiving Mass at 8:15 am in the Church followed by a short Annual Day in the Bosco Hall.

3. Next Sunday 29th March is Palm Sunday. We enter into the Holy week of the Lord’s passion, death and resurrection. Blessings of Palms at the Oratory at 7:45am followed by Mass in the Church. Kindly note there will be a 10:30 am Mass in the Church. At 4:30 pm we will have the sermon, procession, Veronica singing and benediction in Marathi.

4. There will be only one Mass at 8.30 am at St. Andrew's College Chapel Mass on Palm Sunday 29th March 2026. ⁠Blessed Palms will be available at the Chapel after Mass.

5. Next Sunday 29th March after the 6pm Mass, the youth of our parish will be having a Lenten Worship ‘Return to the Heart of God’. Please come in large numbers and experience a powerful time of worship with Jesus. Special prayers for families and those in need.

6. On 1st April, 2026, there will be a half day Lenten recollection conducted by Fr. Naveen Rebello in the church from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

7. We will have Lenten confessions on 30th March, 31st March and 1st April from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm in the Church. Please come and experience the forgiveness and the love of God.

8. From April 2026 a graveyard maintenance charge will be levied on all Niches in the cemetery. The maintenance charge is caped at Rs 500 per annum and can be paid for a period of 3 years. This will enable us to repair and maintain the graveyard. This graveyard maintenance charge will go into effect from 1st April 2026.

9. The Consulate General of Portugal in Goa are having a 3 days camp in Mumbai from 10th April, 2026 to 13th April, 2026 to help parishioners avail consular services in Mumbai. For further details please see the notice board.

10. The Ever-Green senior citizens will be conducting their monthly Housie on Friday, 27th March, 2026 from 5:30pm onwards. All are invited.

11. St. Andrew’s College, Bandra are organizing a Career and Placement Fair - a platform to connect with recruiters and explore diverse career opportunities. This is on Saturday, 28 March 2026 from 9 AM to 4 PM at St. Andrew’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Bandra. All are welcome
