Church Notices: 30th August 2026

1. We begin our Novenas in preparation for the Nativity of Our Lady. The Novena prayer will we prayed after communion at all masses. The offertory for Sunday is Kit for Adolescents which includes Pen, Pencils, Notebooks, Geometry box, Sanitary napkins. Monday's offering is Kit for Addicts - Soap bar, Toothpaste, toothbrush, Hand towel.

2. We will resume the Parish visitation post the Novenas.

3. The Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at 7 pm in the Bosco Hall.

4. Friday 4th September is the 1st Friday of the month. The Holy half hour will be at 6:30pm followed by the novena mass at 7 pm. At the novena mass we will have a special prayer and blessing for all teachers.

5. We are celebrating Teachers’day on 4th September 2026. We invite all teachers to join us at St. Andrews Church for MASS with a special blessing at 7 pm and there after a brief fellowship in the Bosco Hall. We wish to thank you for being a teacher and making a difference in the lives of so many students. Teachers who wish to join the Celebration kindly give your names to the community leaders.

6. On 8th September being Girl Child Day we will have a special collection at all masses. The amount collected will be matched by the Parish and will be used as a scholarship for higher education for Girls in our Parish. Last year through your generosity Rs. 2,50,000 was given as scholarship to deserving Catholic students.

7. We wish to thank God for the gift of Vocation at St. Andrews, over the years we have been able to collect names of over 70 priests and religious from our Parish. We had a meaningful service on the 28th of August with the families of these vocations. We thank the organizers of this event and request you to keep praying for vocations in our Parish.

8. This Sunday the All Bandra Zonal talent contest for dance will be held at St. Andrew auditorium from 2pm. The passes for dramatics on 6/Sept will be available at the auditorium foyer this Sunday from 2pm onwards.
