Church Notices: 23rd August 2026

1. Sunday, 23 August is celebrated as Justice Sunday, the theme is: When Labour has a Human Face.

2. Parish Visitation – Every Tuesday, 6:30–9:30 pm. This Tuesday, 25th August, we begin with Community T. Your Parish council member/animator will inform you which house will be visited.

3. Prison Ministry Sunday envelopes may be dropped in the Box near the altar of Our Lady. Thank you for your prayers and financial generosity for this worthy cause.

4. We are looking for volunteers in our parish to help with the audio-visuals at every Mass. Those willing to serve, kindly give your names to the Andrean Media Cell.

5.Meeting for Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be held on Wednesday, 26 August at 7:30pm in Room no. 1.

6. Meeting for Women Cell members will be held on Thursday, 27 August at 6:00pm in Bosco Hall. All those who still want to join the Women cell kindly attend the same.

7. Meeting for Family Cell and Pre-Baptismal Catechesis members will be held on Thursday, 27 August at 7:30pm in Room no. 1.

8.Meeting for Lectors and Bible cell members will be held on Monday, 31st August at 7:45 pm in Room no. 1. An example of Interpreting and Praying with the Bible text of John Chapter 9 will be shared. We encourage you all to please read the text and bring your Bible along.

9. As we prepare for the Nativity Novena, please note that daily mass offerings will consist of specially prepared kits tailored to the needs of those we are praying for; a detailed poster will be circulated today. Secondly, we encourage every parish community or individuals to sponsor a daily snack item for our Sunday School children following the Novena Masses. For further details or to coordinate sponsorship, please contact Fr. Nigel or Fr. Dylan.

10.This Sunday, the All Bandra Zonal talent contest will be held at St. Andrew Auditorium from 2 pm, consists of vocals -16 and above, duets, and quartets. The passes for dramatics on 6th September 2026 will be available at the auditorium foyer this Sunday from 2 pm onwards.

11.The Evergreen Senior Citizens will be conducting their monthly housie session on SATURDAY, 29th Aug'26, at 5.30 pm, in the Bosco Hall. All are invited.
