1. Sunday, 9th August, is celebrated as Vianney Sunday; we invite you to pray for all Priests, especially those who have served this Parish over the years. There will be a second collection at all masses towards the needs of the sick and retired priests in the clergy home. The parish priest team will celebrate the 9:30 am mass. Please note that there will be only one mass at the college chapel on 9th August 2026, at 8.15 am.
2. Those who would like to make their contribution by cheque may do so in the name of the “Archdiocese of Bombay”. Please mention your PAN number and address for receipts. Please note this is a voluntary collection. You may drop your contribution envelopes in the boxes placed beside the altar.
3. Mass bookings for September and October begin from 10th Aug in Room no. 1 from 10 am to 11 am only.
4. Parish Visitation – Every Tuesday, 6:30–9:30 pm. This Tuesday, 4th August, we continue with Community C. Your Parish council member/animator will inform you which house will be visited.
5. The Hope & Life members will be meeting on 13th August, in Room No. 1, from 5pm to 6pm.
6. Mass timings on 15th August Feast of the Assumption is as follows: in the church 7am followed by flag hoisting, 8.30am & 7pm. Chapel Mass will be at 8.15am followed by flag hoisting. There will be no Mass at 12 noon. All Masses on the 15th will have the liturgy of the Feast of the Assumption.
7. Prison Ministry Sunday will be on the 16th of August. Volunteers from Prison Ministry India (PMI) will distribute prayer cards and donation envelopes at the Saturday evening Mass and all Sunday Masses, including the Chapel Masses. We deeply appreciate your prayers and financial generosity for this worthy cause.
8. The following areas of the niches in section C are undergoing repairs: C-091 to C-132; C-133 to C-180. Please note that, as part of the repairs, we need to demolish and rebuild the niches in these sections completely. We will begin the repairs from the 17th of August. We regret the inconvenience caused.
9. We are looking for volunteers in our parish to help with the audio-visuals at every Mass. Those willing to serve, kindly give your names to the Andrean Media Cell
10. All current parish lectors and anyone interested in serving for weekday and Sunday Masses at both the Church and Chapel, may visit the Sacristy this week, to fill in your name and contact details in the registration file provided. Thank you for your willingness to serve our community.
11. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) is organizing a discipleship program starting on Sunday, 16 August. The sessions will take place once a month over a seven-month period. For registration and further details, please check the parish notice board.
12. As we prepare for the Nativity Novena, please note that daily mass offerings will consist of specially prepared kits tailored to the needs of those we are praying for; a detailed poster will be released soon. Secondly, we encourage every parish community to sponsor a daily snack item for our Sunday School children following the Novena Masses. For further details or to coordinate sponsorship, please contact your community PPC members or Fr. Dylan.
