Church Notices: 9th May 2026

1.Those who would like to contribute to the Chapel repairs please do get in touch with the Parish Office. We appreciate your co-operation.

2.During the month of May, we will recite the Holy Rosary at 6:30 pm at the grotto on weekdays and on Sundays at 5:30 pm. Please come and pray to Our Lady.

3.With deep gratitude, we thank the Lord for Fr. Jervis D’Souza and Fr. Clifford D’Souza who have served our Parish with compassion and love. We wish them all the best as they take on their new assignments at St. John the Baptist, Thane and St. Paul’s Church Dadar, respectively.

4.We will hold a formal farewell for both Fathers on Sunday, May 31st, beginning with the Rosary at the grotto at 6:30 p.m., followed by a thanksgiving Mass. Since May 31st is a Sunday, the evening Mass that day has been rescheduled to 7:00 p.m. to accommodate this thanksgiving and farewell Eucharist as we seek God’s blessings upon them.

5.Many have been requesting for crosses made from the wood of our Church. The Clergy home have made these crosses and are available with them. Please contact Fr. Merwyn at the Clergy home for a cross.

6.Evergreen Senior Citizen are organizing a Social on Thursday, 28th May at Saisa Club, Pali. Registrations after 7.30 am Mass on weekdays outside the sacristy.

7.The St. Andrew, St. Peter, and Mt. Carmel units of the Bombay Catholic Sabha have organized helpdesks to assist people with the Census and SIR, as per the following schedule:

• St. Andrew Church: Room No. 1 on 9 and 10 May, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 5:00–7:00 p.m.

• Mt. Carmel Church: 11, 12, and 13 May, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Please avail of this service ASAP as online Census self-enumeration can be done ONLY till 15 May.

8.The parish office will be closed from 11th May to 20th May 2026.
