1. A graveyard maintenance charge has been levied on all Niches in the cemetery. The maintenance charge is caped at Rs 500 per annum and can be paid for a period of 3 years. This will enable us to repair and maintain the graveyard. This graveyard maintenance charge has gone into effect from 1st April 2026. Kindly bring your original papers or receipts or some proof of the niche along.
2. Masses on weekdays in the college Chapel at 12 noon has been discontinued for the vacation, the noon masses till resume on the 15th of June. Those who would like to contribute to the Chapel repairs please do get in touch with the Parish Office. The Sunday masses in the Chapel will resume on the 21st of June. We appreciate your co-operation.
3. The mass timing in the month of May come into effect from Friday 1st May. The Masses on week days are at 7:30 am and 7 pm. On Sundays the Masses will be at 7 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. The weekdays Mass timing will resume on the 15th of June. And Sunday Mass schedule will resume in the Church at 7 am, 8:15 am and 9:30 am and evenings at 6 pm from the 14th of June.
4. With deep gratitude, we thank the Lord for the two years that Fr. Jervis D’Souza has served our Parish Community and the college. His love, compassion and perpetual smile brought warmth and love to many. He has now been appointed as Parish Priest to St. John the Baptist, Thane.
5. We also thank the Lord for the four years that Fr. Clifford D’Souza has served our Parish Community. His laughter, love, compassion and availability brought joy and happiness to many. He has now been appointed as an assistant at St. Paul’s Church Dadar. We will have a formal farewell on May 31st starting with the Rosary at the grotto at 6:30 pm. and followed with a thanksgiving Mass for both the fathers. We wish Fr. Clifford the very best in his new parish and seek God’s blessings upon him.
6. Many have been requesting for crosses made from the wood of our Church. The Clergy home has made these crosses and are available with them. Please contact Fr. Merwyn at the Clergy home for a cross.
7. The AYM will be having Summer Camp from 4th May 2026 to 16th May 2026 in the Bosco Hall from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. All those who want to register please contact Naomi or Delaine. Those who wish to sponsor snacks for the children, please contact Fr. Clifford.
8. St. Andrew’s college is organizing a Science Summer Camp on the theme ‘SIGNALS AND INFORMATION’ from 2nd May to 8th May 2026 from 9a.m. to 1.00p.m. for the 10th standard ongoing and passed out students. Details on the Notice Board.
