1. As the term of the Parish council comes to an end we thank all the Parish council members for their service to the Church. Those who have completed one term are requested to please carry on for the second term. We also welcome new members of the various communities to volunteer their service as community leaders. If any one wishes to serve the community as a community animator we request you to please give your names and your community area to any of the Parish fathers by the 18th/19th of April.
2. A graveyard maintenance charge has been levied on all Niches in the cemetery. The maintenance charge is caped at Rs 500 per annum and can be paid for a period of 3 years. This will enable us to repair and maintain the graveyard. This graveyard maintenance charge has gone into effect from 1st April 2026. Kindly bring your original papers or receipts or some proof of the niche.
3. Masses on weekdays in the college Chapel at 12 noon have been discontinued for the vacation, the noon masses till resume on the 15th of June. The Sunday masses will be at 8:30 and 10:30 till today 19th of April. We will begin the repairs of the Chapel from the 20th of April so that the chapel will be ready to welcome you in June. Those who would like to contribute to the Chapel repairs please do get in touch with the Parish Office. The Sunday masses in the Chapel will resume on the 21st of June. We appreciate your co-operation.
4. The St. Andrew's College Hospitality department invites you to 'Pasta La Vista', a handmade pasta and summer mocktail workshop to help you eat light and right and beat the summer heat. The workshop will be on 25th April, 2026 from 10am to 1pm at St. Andrew's College and is open to all above 16 years of age.
5. With deep gratitude, we thank the Lord for the two years that Fr. Jervis D’Souza has served our Parish Community and the college. His love, compassion and perpetual smile brought warmth and love to many. He has now been appointed as Parish Priest to St. John the Baptist, Thane. There will be a formal farewell later. We wish him all the best in the new chapter of his priestly ministry.
6. Evergreen Senior Citizens will be having Housie on Friday, 24th April, 2025 at 5:30 pm in the Bosco hall.
7. Many have been requesting for crosses made from the wood of our Church. The Clergy Home has made these crosses and are available with them. Please contact Fr. Merwyn at the Clergy home for a cross.
8. The AYM will be having Summer Camp from 4th May 2026 to 16th May 2026 in the Bosco Hall from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. All those who want to register please contact Naomi or Delaine. Those who wish to sponsor snacks for the children, please contact Fr. Clifford.
9. Holy Family Hospital along with St. Peters Church BCS is having a special session on ‘Trauma, Tumors and Tension to stones and silent threats’ on 19th April at 11 am in the Loyola hall.
