Church notices - 7th June 2026

1. We welcome our new Parish team of Fr. Cleo, Fr Dylan and Fr. Ravi to the Parish and wish them a happy and fruitful stay at St. Andrews.

2. PPC Meeting on Monday, 15th June 2026 at 7.00 pm in the Bosco Hall.

3. As you are aware the college Chapel is being repaired and renovated. The estimated cost of the repairs and upgrades is Rs 20 Lakhs. We appreciate any contributions todays these repairs.

4. Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2027 need to give their names to the Parish Office along with a copy of their baptism certificates. Anyone who has completed the 10th Standard Board Examination or is above the age of 15 is eligible. The last date for submitting the names is 14th June 2026.

5. Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion need to give their names to the Parish Office along with a copy of their baptism certificates. Anyone who has completed the 3rd Standard or is above the age of 8 is eligible. The last date for submitting the names is 14th June 2026.

6. In preparation for the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we will have a SACRED HEART TRIDUUM on 9th, 10th and 11th June 2026. The theme of the triduum is ‘The Sacred Heart of Jesus: the source of Hope, Healing and Renewal in today’s world’. Each day one of the parish fathers will preach on the theme at the 7pm mass. We invite you all to be part of this preparation for this feast.

7. Mass bookings for the month of July and August will begin from 8th June in Room no 1 from 10am to 11am.

8. On Sunday, we celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi, the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. In the evening after the 6 pm mass we will have special program called Heaven on Earth which emphasizes the Eucharistic presence in the Holy Mass. Through Sacred Music we hope to our Parishioners a deeper love and understanding of the source and summit of our lives, -the Eucharist. We invite you to be present in large number for this moment of grace.

9. We will resume regular Masses in the Church from next Sunday 14th June. Sunday masses are at 7 am, 8:15 am and 9:30 am and in the Evening at 6 pm. Week day masses at 7am and 8am and evening 7pm. 12.00 noon mass at the Chapel begins from 15th June 2026.

10. Members of Hope and Life Association will meet at 5pm in Room No.1 on 11th June 2026.

11. The following areas in the C section of the niches will be undergoing repairs shortly. C-001 to C-024 and C-055 to C-090. Please note that as a part of the repairs we need to demolish and rebuild the niches in these sections totally. We will start repairs in this section from the 15th of June. We regret any inconvenience caused.
