Church Notices: 4th October 2026

1. October 4th is Thanksgiving Sunday we will have the blessing of the new Rice outside the Bosco Hall, followed by a procession to Church. The 9:30 mass that follows will be a thanksgiving Eucharist for God’s Blessing of abundance on each of us. Please do come and be part of this celebration.

2. We will close the Season of Creation on 4th October with a special blessing of pets. This will be at 11:30 am outside the college chapel. We have chosen the chapel to accommodate people who need to bring their pets in vehicles as there is sufficient parking. Please ensure the safety of all by taking the required precaution.

3. Parish Council will meet on Monday 5th October in the Bosco Hall at 7 pm. We request all Parish Councilors to be present.

4. Parish Visitation will be on Tuesday 6th October with the visitation of community R. Your Parish council member/animator will inform you which house will be visited.

5. 7th October Wednesday is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We encourage you to come with your Children for the Rosary.

6. Mass booking for the months of November and December will begin from 12th October, 2026 in Room No.1 from 10am to 11am only.

7. Pre baptism Catechesis will be held in our parish on 10th and 11th October 2026 in the evening 5 to 6:30pm in Meeting Room 2. Kindly contact the Parish office to register.

8. St. Andrews college is organizing a Career Fair on Saturday 31st October 2026 from 9 am to 4 pm. The details of the same are on the notice board. The last date for registration is 15th October 2026.

9. Citizen Credit Co-operative Bank announces Annual Awards for excellence in Academics for the year 2025-26. Please refer to the Notice Board for more details.

10. The application form for the scholarship for higher education of the girl Child will be made available in the Parish office from Monday 5th October. The Last day to submit applications is Saturday 31st October.

11. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holy Family Hospital is offering free Breast Clinic Consultations & 40% off on Mammography, until 31st Oct. Details on the Church Notice Board.

12. BLOs of part no. 194 (Chimbai) and 190 (St Andrew's Road) will sit in Room No. 2 of St. Andrew's Church on Sunday, 4th October from 11am till 2 pm for submission of form Nos:- 6 (new registration), 7 (deletion) & 8 (correction).
