Church Notices: 5th July 2026

The Peter’s Pence collection is an annual global campaign where Catholics donate to support the Pope's universal mission of peace, evangelization, and humanitarian aid for the marginalized. Today, we will have a second collection after communion for the needs of the Popes Mission.

1.Sunday, 5th July is celebrated as Faith Formation Sunday. At the 8:15 am mass we will have the induction of the Sunday School teachers, and at the 9:30 am mass we will have the induction of the new Parish Pastoral Council. We ask you all to pray for the catechists and PPC members that they may serve the Parish with commitment and love.

2.The Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Monday 6th July in the Bosco hall after the evening mass. Requesting all PPC members to be Present.

3.We have resumed our Parish visitation every Tuesday. This Tuesday 7th July we will be continuing with community V&W. Your Parish council member and animators will inform you as to which house will be visited. The visitation is from at 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

4.As a part of our Parish commitment to a green archdiocese, we are reintroducing collection bins for E waste, Textile waste, Plastic bottles and Tetra packs. These bins will be cleared every 15 days and will be positioned near gate no three.

5.We are looking for volunteers to serve in the Parish Family Cell. The family cell hopes to initiate programs and activities that will foster and strengthen family life. Those interested kindly contact Fr. Cleophas.

6.Pre-baptism Catechesis will be held in our parish every 3 months. All those who are expecting a child will would need to attend the preparation. For details kindly contact the Parish office.

7.The Hope and Life St Andrews unit is celebrating Grandmother's Day on Thursday, 9th July from 11 am to 1 pm at the Bosco Hall. All members are welcome.
