Church Notices: 1st March 2026

1. During the season of lent, the way of the cross will be held at 6:15 pm on the following days: Tuesdays in Konkani, Wednesdays in Marathi, Thursdays for children and Fridays in English.

2. Every Sunday in Lent the Passo service and Mass in Marathi will be held at 4:30 pm.

3. PPC meeting on Monday, 2nd March at 7:00 pm in the Bosco Hall.

4. Parish visits will be on Tuesday 3rd March from 5 pm to 8 pm. The priests of the parish will visit St. Paul’s Road Community E. Your animators will let you know which houses will be visited.

5. In the season of lent we are encouraged to engage in charity and alms giving. To focus our efforts, we will have a collection on the Fridays of lent at all masses. This collection will be for the Lenten Alms which supports the formation of seminarians at Goregaon.

6. Tomorrow/today there will be a Youth Mass at 9:30 am in the Church followed by Jesus Café and youth meeting in room no 1. Inviting all youth to please come for this meeting.

7. The parish office will be closed on 4th March due to Holi.

8. The Hope and Life members will be meeting on Thursday, 5th March 2026 at 5pm in room no 1.

9. On 7th March, Saturday we will be having our parish outdoor way of the cross at Karjat. All are invited. Please register in the parish office with your name and Rs 100/-. Limited sets so please hurry.

10. On 14th March, Saturday we will be having our Parish one-day retreat at Sarvodaya Centre Goregaon. Please register in the parish office with your name and Rs 100/-. Limited sets so please hurry.

11. Next Sunday we celebrate International Women’s Day. We pray for all our women in a special way at all Masses. We invite women entrepreneurs from our Parish to put up stalls on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March. Those interested please register in the parish office.

12. Felicitation for Dr Armida Fernandez, recipient of Padma Shri award and prestigious Papal Medal and for Karen D'mello our recently elected Councillor on 8th March 2026 from 7 pm onwards in the Bosco Hall. All are invited.

13. The Ever-Green senior citizens will be conducting their annual way of the cross on Thursday 12th March in the church compound at 9:30 am. Registrations after the 8 am Mass near the sacristy.

15. The All-Mumbai Walking Pilgrimage to pray for peace will be held on Saturday, 21st March 2026 at 10:30 pm from Cross maidan and conclude with the Holy Eucharist at Mount Mary Basilica. For details, please see the noticeboard.

16. We are happy to announce that we have opened the school grounds for Parishioners to walk and play in the evening from 5 to 8 pm. We have also opened new washrooms behind the Priest Residence for use during mass times. We hope these steps will better serve our Parish community. ID cards are available in the parish office only for parishioners. Please mention your name, number and which community you belong to.
